The Doodler Update: Week 25

Week 25 was quite hectic to say the least Polydoodle Stitch has been working his ass off getting things ready to go full into production mode. The characters has been rigged and now they have custom buttons/shelves setup for their use in our animated short “& Son”. Stitch also had a bit of time to conduct some group pose tests with our key characters Benjamin & Barnabas (please see the video above).

Sammy and Chrissie have been slaving away on our 2D introduction but as of yet there are no developments to show. We are hoping to compile an initial animation pass within the next week or so, when it is available we will post it up here. Team Polydoodle are pretty much done as far as creating 3D assets go, and we have already started the animation phase (in 2D). We are cautiously optimistic so far.

Doodler Week 15

Above you can see some image highlights from our blog for this week (week 25). If you wish to see the posts themselves please visit the Polydoodle Pictures studio blog.

This week there has been a lot of development as far as the rigging process has gone. Stitch took it upon himself to make another series of videos (shown above) covering his creation of custom shelves and the functionality of the character rigs (Barnabas & Benjamin in “& Son”. These were all done within a week hence why they are being squeezed into this post, we are all very fired up.
